Photographer’s Note

- For me the word Várzea allways had the meaning of emptiness, of a plain dirty field with nothing else but sunlight. The Várzea plain allways existed in the low part of Torres Vedras city and nothing but the S. Pedro fair and the circus tents (when in town) were placed in that place.
- After posting this photo i was thinking about some explanation about the transformation ocurred there a few years ago, the name of the place changed to Várzea Green Field and now is full of grass and trees, where the city habitants jog, cycle, and do all kind of ludic activities.
- The curiosity about the name Várzea came when i searched it in the ditionary and the resut is that Várzea meant for a field that floods sometimes in the year, and the translation to english is fertile valley.
- Well whe are allways learning ...
- In the photo besides the green field, we can also see the city Castle and the church of Santa Maria do Castelo.

Olá Daniel,

Excelente foto que conseguiste tirar naquele belo parque. Dificilmente teria feito algo tão agradável ou interessante como esta composição que aqui apresentas.
As cores laranjas da luz dos candeeiros funcionam muito bem no aspecto geral da imagem, dando-lhe alguns tons quentes que tornam a noite mais agradável.
O contraste da cor da relva é também ele de louvar!
Dá vontade de ir jogar uma peladinha ali no green ;)

A cor alaranjada é talvez representativa do que na realidade se pode ver à noite mas, para mim, está um pouco saturada. No entanto, tenho de admitir que fez sobressair bem o castelo e as suas cores. Portanto e para concluir, está bem conseguida e é bastante agradável.

Olá Daniel, boa foto nocturna numa composição bastante original. O enquadramento do Castelo e Igreja pela curvatura da árvore está muito bem conseguida e a textura na relva e tronco está excelente. Bela foto e bom esforço para a nota.

Uma compo bem interessante, com essa árvore a enquadrar o castelo e a igreja. Excelente exposição e cores; admirável para uma foto nocturna.

Olá Daniel,

que coloração interessante ficou essa árvore. O controle "white balance" está mais do que apropriado. Mesmo com pouquíssima luz, conseguiu registrar todos os detalhes e ainda não deixou prá trás o funco que também está bem iluminado. Belo trabalho!
