Photographer’s Note
Here is one more from Adraga beach, Sintra.
This was one of the first pictures I took there. The light was still strong, so even with the polarizer and the ND grad I had "fast" shutter speeds. And I'm glad I did, because I was able to freeze the "action", but kept the sense of motion too.
What dazzles me is the transition from cold colors to warm colors - all because of that diagonal cloud. Nature never stops to amaze me. Who needs photoshop when you can watch this live nature's shows?
PS: I'm sorry for the lack of participation, but I'm having network problems.

This is indeed a fantastic shot. You did well in leaving the sun out of the frame to prevent it from turning into a common sunset scene. The variety of colors, dynamics of blurred wave motion and reflected last rays are all excellent features. The dominance of the central dark silhoutte is nicely offset by the rest of the other elements. Truely lovely!! The bottom of the image seems a teeny bit cramped to me in comparison with the generous space on top but am not sure if cropping would solve that issue.

Belo trabalho!

Wonderful image, the best I've seen of the Sintra coast. Fantastic use of the cloud, rock and water in your composition. I agree with you about the warm and cold colors. I think I would have cropped the bottom just a tad so that the white watter just touches the corner.

Very clean shot with great colors.
Fantastic, how do you make it?
I know that is is not just 1s exsposure, but also nice framing and placing of the camera. The rest which I don't know is simply magic. This made me put you into my favorites.

Excellent photo Joel,
The lighting is wonderful, especially how it gives that nice golden edge to the rocks. I love the water. It looks silky smooth and the clouds are very nice too. Well composed. The rocks are in just the right spot. You've captured the true beauty of the sea and the sky. Well done!
