Photographer’s Note

This photograph is a panoramica in the vertical resulted of tres photos.

Queluz is famous for the palace built by Dom Pedro III , in the rococo style, called "little Versailles". It is the most welcoming of the royal palaces and built in the XVIII century. Its gardens (Pensil or Neptuno and Azereiros), are attributed to the architect Robillion and the Dutch gardener Joseph van der Kolk, according to the then prevailing "French taste".
Besides the palace, there are in Queluz many interesting places that will catch attention of the first time visitors, such as megalithic monuments (2500 bC) and buildings from the centuries XIV, XVII and XVIII. Around the old nucleus of the city villas and houses sprung up at the beginning of this century used as summer houses.
With the city growth from the last 40 years, Queluz has, today, distinct places with theirs own names: Massamá, Casal do Olival, Monte Abraão, Pendão, Alto dos Moinhos, Casal dos Afonso and Bairro Conde Almeida Araújo (Chinelo) are some housing group around downtown. Today, the city has 3 parishes: Queluz, Monte Abraão and Massamá. Much can be discovered of the history and style found in the cobbled streets of Queluz

reflections : what is it about them that we love? Ive always been drawn to them.

the placement of the statue alittle off to the left lets us see the door --perfect--well done!!

Beautifull reflection. Sharpness is there and I like the sweet colors. The clouds are also interesting. Just a point, maybe you could erase the flag on the top which pollute a little bit the sky.

Belíssim foto do Palácio Nacional de Queluz!
Os reflexos na superficie do lago estão muito bem definidos, e impressão de simetria criada pela imagem reflectida e pelo enquadramento que escolheste, acrescentam interesse a esta foto.
Gosto do grau de saturação e contraste que imprimiste às cores, e a luminosidade que escolheste.
As núvens ocupando aqui apenas um 1/4 da paisagem, desempenham, no entanto, um papel importante, pela coloração que têem, e pela profundidade e dramatismo que imprimem ao céu e aos reflexos na agua.

é excelente o trabalho que tens vindo a efectuar à volta dos nossos monumentos mais famosos com com vistas bem originais tal como esta que aqui apresentas.
Excelente foto do Palcio de Queluz e respectivo reflexo nas águas da fonte. As nuvens e tons do céu completam muito bem esta foto.

You say it is a vertical panoramic of 3 photos? if i understand that correct then you have stitched three photos on top of each other, and done a very good job of it.
