Santa Maria de Belém, or just Belém, whose name is derived from the Portuguese word for Bethlehem, is a civil parish of the municipality of Lisbon. At the mouth of the Tagus River it is located six kilometres west of the city centre and two kilometres west of Ponte 25 de Abril (25th of April Bridge)...

Composition intéressante , dans ce format vertical . la couleur rouille de la bite d'amarrage répond au rouge des toits de tuile ; et contraste avec le bleu du ciel et de la mer .

hi daniel,
the light in this image is wonderful and has resulted in some beautiful colours. the yellow metal pole contrasts superbly with the blue tones in the sky. great detail and fantastic depth of field.

A fine composition featuring this busy marina. I like the use of the vertical format and the positioning of the mooring post which makes an excellent anchor point. The image is agreeably lit and benefits from very good colours and sharpness.
