A late evening blue moment shot of the Lisbon bridge - Ponte 25 de Abril. Taken from the terrace of a restaurant near Belem.
The 25 de Abril Bridge (25th of April Bridge, in Portuguese: Ponte 25 de Abril) is a suspension bridge connecting the city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal, to the municipality of Almada on the left bank of the Tagus river. It was inaugurated on August 6, 1966 and a train platform was added in 1999. It is often compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, USA, due to their similarities and same construction company. With a total length of 2,277 m, it is the 20th largest suspension bridge in the world. The upper platform carries six car lanes, the lower platform two train tracks. Until 1974 the bridge was named Salazar Bridge. There is an unproved controversy on which Salazar wanted to name the bridge D. João I, after John I of Portugal.
I had no tripod and it was already quite late so the shutter seed wasn't optimal the aperture was wide open. Mapped the tones in Gimp and added some contrast. No crop.

Fantastic POV!
If I knew about it I would definitely go there while I was in Lisbon.
I love it. Very good timing as well, although I am curious if it could be not better a bit later -may be the bridge would be illuminated?
In any case excellent work, TFS

Hello Pentti!
That's a very interesting and beautiful picture!
The composition with the brigde and all the other elements in this picture is quite effective and truly attractive, where all of them are so skillfully placed!
Sharpness, exposure, dof and colors are all very good too! It's very enjoyable and inviting!
TFS - congratulations!
My warmest regards and greetings from Brazil,
Neyvan
