The Jerůnimos Monastery was built from 1501 in late gothic style, variant Manuelino.
It is classified by Unesco as a Mankind Cultural Heritage.
The cloister is a two storey construction and was designed by Diogo de Boitaca. The responsible for the construction from 1517 onwards was Jo„o de Castilho and finally itís conclusion was the work of Diogo de Torralva (1540-41).
Itís considered one of the most achieved examples of the Manuelino style.

marvelous shot of great architectural structure. I like how you've chosen POV of shooting behind arch and giving a natural framing. Details are superbly displayed and perspective view of columns nicely lead to opposite arch. All mentioned created excellent composition of splendid forms.
