Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken on the Square that serves the ferry and train terminals at Cais do Sodré in Lisboa. It's unbelievable the iron artwork we may find fooling around in Lisboa, and this is only one example of it, but there are many more spread out thru the city and not only street lamps but many other pieces made of iron.

Great detail to reveal this artistic piece or iron work which, as you say, is very common in Lisboa. I like the contrast with the cloudy sky too, as it looks quite dramatic. Good work.

Olá paulo,
bonita imagem esta do candeeiro de ferro.
Parece uma imagem envelhecida.
A composição está muito boa com o candeeiro descentrado ós ramos das árvores como "pano de fundo".
Bonitas cores também.

A great image Paulo. I like the sparseness of this scene - just the rigid shape of the manmade object contrasting with the tree shapes against the backdrop of the threatening sky. A strong composition, well done!

une photo dont le PP a changé pas mal des caractéristiques, pour lui donner une touche plus que personnelle.
Finalement, elle n'est pas mal comme cela.
