Classic Lisbon view from Alfama but I like this lonely palm and besides, I am lazy and have no idea what to show at the moment.

Witaj Malgorzato,
piekna pocztowka z Lizbony.Az przypominaja mi sie moje wizyty w tym pieknym miescie.Ta samotna palma fantastycznie komponuje sie z architektura i charakterystycznymi czerwonymi dachami Lizbony.Bez niej widok z pewnoscia nie bylby az tak urzekajacy.Bardzo podobaja mi sie rowniez wyraziste i mocne kolory oraz kontrast pomiedzy nimi.

São lindos estes telhados vermelhos de Alfama fazem sempre um belo contraste com o azul , gostei da enorme palmeira em primeiro plano .
We have the Church of Saint Estevão Séc.XVIII, the current Church total was reconstructed between 1733-1740, according to risk of Manuel da Costa Negreiros later under orientation of Mateus Vicente de Oliveira. Characteristic National monument of the baroque , its oitavada plant seats in a simple geometry of tracing to rectangular with the cut angle conferring a notable to it originalidade. Its façade appears divided in 3 bodies for salient pilasters being the central office concluded for triangular pediment on top by cross and fit by two towers. This symmetry was lost with earthquake, that it destroyed one of the sineiras towers. In the interior they are distinguished the high altar with retable of rock and the sculpturesque group of cut carried through for Jose de Almeida, the lateral altars, collection of statues and tiles of the old sacristy.

an excellent composition full of wonderful light and colours. The red roofs are so attractive and contrast so perfectly with the sky and the green of the huge palm tree. Beautiful!

En effet, une très belle carte postale de Lisbonne la belle. Les toit rouges sont un très bel atout, la mer et le ciel font le reste.

A calssical view , but allways a pleasure to see the red roofs in front of the blue sea . Here , the interesting church and the beautiful lonely palm tree are two attractive points in the commposition.

Lazy but have a wonderful collection to show, Malgo.
This was taken from a beautiful Miradouro-dos-Porta-des-Sol, a place most know to show a good view of Alfama roof-tops.
The palm tree gave scale onto the river width.

Hello Malgorzata,
Well if you can bring out a picture like this out of your archives you shouldn't need to worry about what to show. It's a fine compositin, but then Lisbon is among those cities that look good from almost any angle. The palm is nice, so is the church and so are the many red roofs.

Bonjour Malgorzata,
la carte postale teintée de rouges et de jolis bleus. la touche trop discrète de vert de la végétation.
Beaucoup de profondeur et des lumières vraiment parfaites, bien distribuées.
J'aurais cadré cet arbre un peu plus à droite.

yes, for sure Portugal is a country that I must travel to at some point.
the cloud coverage is great too with a spattering of little clouds.
I guess Portugal is known for these rust colored rooftops...look great.

Hi Malgorzata,
already I presented a capture with a sight similar to this one, but without the palm and with the presence of a cruise ship in the port.
In your photo the sun was shining in the sky, and was giving a great chromatic power in the red roofs and in the whiteness of the houses and the church, with a nice graphical effect. Lisbon is a very photogenic city, an authentic temptation for the photographers.

Hello Malgo - I missed this one and it really lovely. You POV over the rooftops capitalises on the rich orange tiles which are contrasted so perfectly by the crisp whites of the walls and blue of the sky. Even the cranes look attractive! Lovely. Warm regards Rosemary

The palm tree is well positioned on the 1/3 axis in this well composed image. Good warm cold colour contrasts between the red roofs & blue sky with wonderful sharpness. Tfs!
