In the Nations Park of Lisbon there are many new buildings with different architecture. I like this one

Enjoy it !

Originally built for Expo '98, Nations' Park is a modern architectural showpiece spread along a three-mile stretch of the Tagus river in north-east Lisbon.
It boasts the vast Vasco da Gama shopping centre and cinema, an Oceanarium, the Living Science Centre, the Atlantic Pavilion (concert and sports venue), the Lisbon International Exhibition Centre (FIL), the Camões Theatre, Lisbon Casino and dozens of bars, restaurants and late-night venues.

Enjoy the view from the cable car along the riverfront, hop on the tourist "mini" train, or hire a bicycle to get around at your leisure.

You can't miss the 17km-long Vasco da Gama Bridge, 12km of which snake across the Tagus. Look out for the Portuguese Pavilion, recognisable for its curved roof, designed by Portugal's most renowned architect, Alvaro Siza, and considered an architectural wonder.

splendida l'architettura moderna di questo edificio, ed altrettanto splendido l'effetto grafico ottenuto con la facciata blu e le diverse inclinazioni delle scale, con il piacevole inserimento dei vasi a spezzare la bicromia. Ottimo lavoro.

This has brilliant colours and wonderful symmetry with the pattern. Brilliant light and clarity in the shot - I wish I could capture something this well. Congratulations again on great image.

Bella composición gráfica con los elementos arquitectónicos de la fachada que crean formas geométricas.
Excelente cromatismo, con el color azul de la fachada.

Well seen this graphical play of stairs against an azure blue background. And pleasant to see how neatly and ordered the greenery has been added, even the alternance between smaller and bigger pots seems to have been studied by a commission...

quel graphisme une merveille, ce bleu en fond avec ce tubulure couleur alu, fantastique iamge, avec même la touche de végétationa vec lles pots à fleur, sueprbe.

Good colour, sharpness, light contrasts & framing. Excellent repetition of the different layers & levels of red flower pots that contrast exceptionally well against the cyan blue facade of the building. Parabens!

hello Aires,
I remember the vertical format of this place, and I cannot decide which one I like better. I might prefer a less centered composition, moving the camera a little to the left and leaving a little less of the blue wall on the right might work, but that's not a major point, the graphic lines and accents of flower pots still look great.

Olà Aires,
The straight, sharp and refined geometric lines form a vibrant composition and give a depth impression to the image. The play of shadow and light against the building facade particularly serve the whole graphism. The flower pots offer a point of interest and soften the the building's geometry. The blue background gives off a natural warmth and a feeling of peace which contrasts with the cold tubular-steel structures running in all directions. A great image.

Ola Aires, I thought this photo was very "Karinesque". The strong hues and placement of the pot plants is so well spotted. And of course there's the linear nature of the staircases against the vertical windows. I like this shot alot, congratulations on this most excellent posting. Have a wonderful day, Lisa.
