A charming tram, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

The famous "eléctrico" 28 in the stop of the Miradouro das Portas do Sol, in Lisbon.
This old but effective tram still is an excellent system of public transport, and an authentic icon of this city at the same time. Its high aesthetic value, its yellow color, and its contrast with the reddish front they were deserving to take this photo.

El famoso “eléctrico” 28 en la parada del Miradouro das Portas do Sol, en Lisboa.
Este viejo pero eficaz tranvía todavía es un excelente medio de transporte público, y un auténtico icono de esta ciudad al mismo tiempo.
Su alto valor estético, su color amarillo, y su contraste con la fachada rojiza merecían tomar esta foto.

These trams look always so attractive. Red building fits well as a background. That short wheelbase catches attention, I wonder if such can be found anywhere else. It's also surprising how high those electric wires are set.

Hello Josep,
Indeed, in Lisbon we can find the most charming trams of Europe. Its yellow colour makes this one delightful and attractive. And when such a tram stops in front of a house with a vivid red facade, we are rewarded with a brilliant picture.
Years ago all trams in Brussels were also yellow. But not such a bright yellow as this tram here in Lisbon. Now they're all painted differently and 'decorated' with publicity ...

Hola Josep.
Por fin nos deleitas con una nueva imagen, no la he visto hasta hoy, pues ayer no me apetecia dedicar tiempo a TE y ni siquiera entre en la pagina.
Es una composicion encantadora de la vida cotidiana en la ciudad, soberbio el cromatismo de la imagen con ese color tan llamativo del tranvia, que coincide con un color de fachada nada convencional, es un bonito trabajo y muy original.
Como siempre una magnifica luminosidad y nitidez, el marco muy original aporta un buen complemento a la imagen.
Espero ya esteis ambos totalmente recuperados y disfrutando de una buena semana, aunque con lluvias.

the trams of Lisbon are indeed so photogenic. You have made a great use of this typical theme here. I like the full symmetry with the red house making a lovely background and adding another color to the composition.
I think I may have been in this spot not long ago but I did not spot this photo opportunity.

Ce qui frappe le plus ici est bien sur le contraste des couleurs, le cadrage parfait juste devant le batiment rouge, bonne lumière et beaucoup de détails

Parece que ainda têm mais algumas boas fotos de Lisboa no arquivo:)!
Gosto desta, pela composição e sobretudo pela combinação de cores. As cores do electrico ficam óptimas com aquela parede ao fundo. Até os cortinados nas janelas são um bom detalhe!

the only thing i would change about the scene would be to clone outo the far left post thats hugging the border..what do you think? perhaps I'm being too picky? :)
but what really stands out are the color contrasts, and how they blend together. the stark red is marvelous!! how often do we see buildings of that color!!
I also enjoy the parade of windows, very unique street shot of Lisbon
