this is another shot of the beautiful architecture found in portugal. this was taken on teh beach of estoril. i saw this castle/house which i found absolutely stunning! the architecture is excellent. in teh background we could see a storm approaching, but which never reached us, since it was pushed to teh south from the wind coming frmo teh sea. i do not know any history about this castle, but it was beautiful!

Great composition. Great contrast between the dark sky and the lighted house. Full of details with a nice mix of textures. The inclusion of the people walking is great, because it gives a nice sense of size.

The contrast between the brightly sunlit building and the dark sky gives this a lot of impact, although the sky has gone a bit bluish rather than dark grey.
Your composition is good, and it's good that you managed to keep the vertical lines of the building (almost) straight.
