Licking and texting - two favourite summer pastimes.
Which one do you prefer?

Ericeira is a fishing village and a seaside resort 50km (31 mi) north-west of Lisbon. 2km north of the town there's one of the best European surfing beaches that hosts the World Surf Championship.

If you ask me, the best features of the place are its 50 seafood restaurants. Do I have to say anything else?

Hi Robert,

It's probably the less catchy of your last post of Portugal, but certainly it is much worth for the irony and the sense of observation, which is also much present in your other posts.

Choosing which activity is more pleasing is evident... Hmmm... A sweet ice cream in a hot sunny day is hard to beat, but we can't know what conversation is going on by SMS on that phone. Anyway, i's almost unfair the way that the girl with the ice cream wins in every aspect: not only she is doing something more appealing visually (not to mention other less politically correct connotations :), she is also more attractive, she dresses more sexy, the colour of her clothes are more catchy and she is looking at us. Hey, and what about the yellow nails of the other one? Well, let's just say that I don't like them so much and that they are another point on the hilarious aspect of the photo.

I wonder how the photo would "work" if they switched everything: clothes, ice cream, phone... Would the choice be so obvious? :D

Which do I like? It depends who I'm texting...or who I'm licking!

This is certainly "daily life" in every sense...the small pleasures that help make a good life. Nice that you thought to capture it in camera. Regards, Ken.

hi robert , got to be licking,iam to slow at texting , like the totally different looks on the girls one concentrating the other looks as if the icecream was to cold. well spotted
