This is one fish of the Colysa Species (known too as Discus Fishes), which can be seen at the Aquarium Vasco da Gama, founded in 1898 by the King Carlos I.
This is a small but very interesting and instructive Aquarium, with a rich variety of fishes of fresh and sea water, cold and tropical water, worth a visit..

What a handsome couple you have here! The colors are brilliant and the details very clear.

Oh well done Rui, a live fish. What a hard category to fill in the current hunt, only two there so far. Nice 'catch'.

Viva Dr. Rui e parabéns por mais um bom trabalho. Vejo que frequentamos zonas do país muito semelhantes, ainda temos que combinar um encontro. Eu actualmente moro a uns escassos 500 m do Oceanário e ainda não o visitei, mas talvez seja este fim-de-semana, se estiver por lá talvez nos possamos ver. Continuação de boas fotos.

J'adore les poissons d'aquarium. J'en ai un chez moi. Particulièrement les discus que tu as superbement photographié avec leur couleur bleue lumineux...
