My dear TE friends:

Last year, exactly on this day, I was writing this text:

“My TE friends, first of all I would like to thank you all the comments and critiques you have made, as well as the Christmas and New Year greetings, which I sincerely return with friendship. I also would like to apologise for what I am going to write below:

This photo has a story and also a very special meaning to me: my wife is at the hospital right now, where she will be submitted to a surgical operation, because of an unexpected problem. It is a bad one, but also, considering the seriousness of it, one of the "less bad", so I know we will win this battle.

Although I don't like to speak about my personal problems, I decided to upload this photo, not only because you are almost a part of my family, but also because this is from a place we both love.

Besides that, I want that this light (whatever it means) will be with her and guide her, now and forever. And even though I think she will not like to read what I wrote above (she will kill me...), I also want to say to her, with all of you as my witnesses:
I LOVE YOU!

Well, today I just want to reiterate all these words and feelings, but now with a completely different feeling: her problem is now under control and we also learned to live with it, mainly to live even with much more joy and love. And this is really extraordinary and good. The light I mentioned before is certainly with us, and I want it also to be with you and your family, wishing you a very happy new year, with sincere friendship.

I would also like that this light would be forever with our great late friend Fernando (Galmeida), unfortunately not anymore on our dimension, but always on our hearts!

At last, I would like once more to say to my beloved wife:
