Photographer’s Note
Cabo da Rocca,Portugal, one of the "edges of Europe",is the most western point of the european mainland. The lighthouse of Cabo da Rocca is situated on an impressive cliff of more than 140 meters above the sea level.
To visit this place one can easily take the public bus line relating Cascais (nice touristic destination at the beach - 45 min of train from Lisbon) and Sintra (Classified World Heritage).

Hi Mike,
Great composition from the Cabo da Roca lighthouse. Very nice and unusual perspective. Very mystic scene due to the fog.
Watchout with the dust on your sensor (those small dark dots). Try to correct them with photoshop (clone tool). Another way to prevent them to appear in your scene is using bigger aperture values. With f/22 they will always appear.
But it's a very nice photo.
Take care
Fred
