Sunset at Cape Roca Photo

Hi TE friends

This weekend I did a trip along our ocean coast and reach the Cape Roca just in sunset moment.

I made the picture without tripod and used the Lens 70-300. I chosen a wrong low DOF, any way I like it.

Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca) is a cape which forms the westernmost point of both mainland Europe and mainland Portugal. The cape is in the Portuguese municipality of Sintra, west of Lisbon district, and also forms the westernmost extent of the Serra de Sintra

Location
The cape is located in Lisbon district, 40 kilometres west of the city of Lisbon and 18 kilometres west of the town of Sintra in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Its coordinates, 38°47′N 9°30′W, are inscribed on a stone plaque on the monument at the site. The cliff rises out of the Atlantic Ocean to approximately 140 metres above sea level.

Environment
Once home to a variety of plant life, Cabo da Roca has been overrun with the invasive plant species Carpobrotus edulis. This creeping, mat-forming succulent species - a member of the Stone Plant family Aizoaceae - was introduced as ground cover by local residents several decades ago, but now covers much of the arable land on Cabo da Roca.

History
Cabo da Roca was known to the Romans as Promontorium Magnum[1] and during the Age of Sail as the Rock of Lisbon. The 16th century Portuguese poet Luís de Camões described Cabo da Roca as the place "where the land ends and the sea begins" (Portuguese: Onde a terra acaba e o mar começa). From Wikipedia

Desculpa lá mas apanho-te novamente depois de esgotar os meus sorrisos do dia. Como não quero deixar para amanhã o que posso fazer hoje aqui vai então a minha opinião. E é muito simples. Está linda etsa foto. Só foi pena teres descuidado a linha de horizonte e as duas ou três manchas de poeira no sensor.

Bonjour Aires,
un endroit privilégié pour photographier un coucher de soleil, les nuages jouent bien leur rôle ici, ils diffusent cette lumière chaude et colorée.
Un excellent cadrage où rien n'est centré.

It is not easy no take a good and interesting shot of a sunset but you succeeded. It looks like a red ocean and the silhouette of the cross suits here really good.

Hola Aires.
Superb sunset shot with the wonderful sky colors and the beautiful silhouette. You did a great work using your focal length up to 300mm without using a tripod and be able to get such good sharpness helped by the 1/400 seconds. Good for you.

How You know, I like very strongly both sunsettings and sunrises. This sunsetting is special, because contains the additional, strong symbolics. This beautiful photo about very simple composition. This simplicity acts this picture to still more elegant, than would be able to be. The superb colouring!

Olá Aires,
Uma compo admirável pela relativa simplicidade! "Apenas" um cruzeiro "observando" um pôr-do-sol que é um espectáculo de cores. A exposição está perfeita e é admirável como practicamente não há ruído.
Dá a impressão de estar ligeiramente inclinada para a esquerda, mas como o horizonte é difuso, não incomoda nada.
