On the roof, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

The next photo from the series "Emka on the roof". This is the roof of a Cathedral in Evora, here is the one of its two different towers. This is a great place, I spent there quite a lot time(making many photos :)). The roof is big - the area of cathedral itself and one can admire the red roofs of the town in every directions. It is not me, of course, on the photo, but I was just there shooting Diana Temple.

So, when you ever go to Evora, do not miss these views!!

Hello Malgorzata,
I don't know why but this very beautiful, very picturesque top of the cathedral reminded me of a peaked helmet which some knights wore in older times!
the effect is jsut great - with the blue sky and clouds in the background :) Very interesting view and very good POV! If I happen to travel there I will visit it for sure.

Hello Malgorzata,
The tower looks majestic against the sky and the fine clouds. It has a heavy compactness despite the many fine decorations that I like. It is nicely framed by the rows of the balustrades that lead me safely towards it. The few colours are very pleasant and the light management is excellent.

When I was in Portugal, back in 2004, I didn't visit Evora... well, as I see your wonderful pictures taken there, I know I must go there if ever travel back to that Country!
This photograph is marvelous! So many interesting and beautiful architectural details! And that sky... gorgeous!
Sharpness, exposure, pov, dof, colors and composition are all excellent!

Uma imagem muito bonita do terraço da Catedral de Évora, a visão deste ponto é excelente para toda a cidade. Espero que você tenha gostado de Évora. O acesso aos telhados dos monumentos não é uma coisa muito comum, mas sempre existe excepções.Eu tenho uma foto igual à sua.

Hello Malgorzata, The symetry here is wonderful. A great composition and a splendid background of wispy clouds. Finding buildings so unique like this one, is difficult to do. I've been away for several days and only now I'm seeing all the photos!
Good pov to show the tower of the Cathedral. These two crenellated walls on both sides are great they lead our eyes to the tower. Good light, sharpness and a beautiful sky!I'm glad you liked the city:)!

Hello Malgorzata.
In fact both have gone through the roof of the cathedral, this composition is impressive for its beauty and clarity, the sky was the most pictorial one could wish, the originality of this tower is so perfect here, I also made pictures of this tower from another angle, because I went up in the morning. Well done. I love it.
