Photographer’s Note
Monsaraz - Medieval village, born inside the remparts of an old Castle, 50 kms (35 miles) SE of Évora, 40 kms (25 miles) away of the East Portuguese border. Every building were rebuilt in the last decades and are now worth a look. At the old remparts, it is possible to have a good view to the new Alqueva Dam, built recently at the Portuguese course of Guadiana River

What a lovely scene. I love these old villages and you have done a good job of capturing it. Maybe it needs a donkey coming down the cobble-stoned lane to add a little life ;).

Simple and well done.
I like the opposition between the deep blue and the white.
Maybe just a little pity that there is no character in the frame.
Nice shot and interesting note !

Excellent compoced, good sharp, the light is great, and the buildings look good against the blue sky, great contrast.

A very beautiful image, very simple, very quite made up. Perhaps it misses a human factor, so that it is perfect.
Well done Rui.

Wonderful old street you given us here - I like to watch the lines of the roofs and white walls against the blue skyes -
Very fine capture Rui - thanks for sharing.

Lovely composition, with the flowers, the whitewashed walls, the dark windows, the steeple. Really quite nice!

Cores e luz excelentes! Parabéns! Miguel.
