Photographer's Note

Monsaraz is a tiny fairytale walled village that maintains a delightful medieval atmosphere.

The main street, Rua Direita, lined with 16th and 17th century whitewashed houses, leads to the main square, Monsaraz Square where the parish church stands along with an unusual 18th century pillory topped by a sphere of the universe.

It looks deserted and then I notice a lone figure sitting on the steps. The strong light is well managed with no o-e and plenty of detail in the shadows. The pretty sky adds a lot to the scene.

Yes, I like it. Simplicity, just three colours, interesting textures of ground and roof. The strange angles of the buildings make it seem like a dream, or a theatre set.

Your sigma does a wonderful job. The POV is well seen and it produces a great effect by hiding the distortion cleverly. Excellent light and shadows and beautiful strong colors

Uma bela composição desta bela praça de Monsaraz.Gosto do pov,cor e da presença das sombras.Já a definição...não me parece que esteja ao nível da tua 200.
Parece que reparaste nisso e no Ws tentas corrigir com "more sharpness".
