Photographer's Note

This is surely the best known and the most important square in Évora and surely one of the most photographed places. We can say this is the heart of the city.In front we have a national monument, a 16th century fountain, made of white marble. When this photo was taken it was very hot, but it's very common to see lots of people sitting there. In front we have the Bank of Portugal and on the left side we have lots of nice old buildings - that's an area where we can find lots of shops and cafés.Then, the Temple of Diana and the Cathedral are very close.
