Here is a typical chimney with Arabic influences in the south of Portugal.

This particular one lays inside the first peripheric city walls erected in the XIII century enclosuring the old city near the castle of Estremoz.

Impressionante como estava boa a visibilidade nesse dia, nem da pra ver onde termina o campo! A escolha dos telhados em primeiro plano ficou muito boa também.

Ola Rui,
An excellent illustration of changing borders and architechtural styles with the moorish curves and tile roofs and the TV antenna against the spare, utilitarian warehouses in the BG. I hadn't thought about arabic influences in Portugal, but of course the boundaries were always changing and still are to a lesser degree.
