In the summer...II, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

This is exactly the same field and the same old concrete fence I've shown a few days ago.
This field is situated a few kilometres far from Arraiolos, but most part of the fields in the region look very similar at this time of the year.

Uma grande imagem ... onde tudo é muito bem feito ... a composição, árvore emoldurada ... o jogo de cores bonitas, bem saturado e bem capturado ...

A very nice composition. The mossy stone fence provides a fine foreground with its different colours and fine texture. Behind it you placed the lonely tree very well inside an elegant frame. Technically the photo is also very good.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition. Elle donne une impression de profondeur et d'éloignement. Les couleurs sont bien saturées et on sent la texture de la rouille sur les barreaux.

Hello Ana,
beautiful scene,which you not only well noticed,but also excellently considered and executed.The idea with the POV from behind this concrete fence was great.It creates strong,visual effect between FG and BG and makes we focus even more to notice more details of this beautiful landscape in the distance.Apart from this I like superb quality of the image.The texture and overall color scheme of the fence is eye-catching.Great work!

Yes that is very impressive shot. Good idea to peep throug the rock fense to the field. Tree over there is getting the best location. The contrast of clear rough face of the concreat and blurred filed is so tasetful.

excellent color rendering and a sharp focus on this cement fence, sharp and textures are top, beautiful geometry and the BG with the tree centered in the rumble, a beautiful blue sky that contrasts well with the golden color of the field...nice idea...

A really creative photo. Even if the focus in on the concrete fence the depth is great. The tree and clouds are not blurred which is very good in photo like this where the tree is an important element. A really good photo-job! TFS and have a nice evening!

Hi Ana
The clarity is good and your direct pov even enhances its feel when taken with a contextual surrounding. There is so much to see here, the balance and inclusion of the rustic structure - part of the fencing set in front of it is wonderful exploring all different perspectives. This lay out i feel does not take attention away from the lone tree in the distance but helps the eyes through the pic to settle in, rather than competing against each other. This also enhances the depth allowing viewers to hover around. Its an excellent ideas, in good coloring and contrast

I like your POV showing he landscape through the opening of the concrete fence. I live how you possition the tree in the diamond shape opening. Beautiful sky and puffy cloud the texture of the rough concrete is really wonderful and the orange coloration.

Hello Ana,
It was a very good idea to use this colorful concrete fence for framing parts of the scene. The yellow of the field, gray and orange of the fence, as well as the nicely clouded blue sky together make a very strong aesthetic effect. Excellent composition, beautiful colors and absolutely perfect quality of the shot!

Nice to be able to compare this to your previous photo of the same spot, Ana - both are lovely shots but this one is particularly creative and visually arresting. The detail on the concrete is just amazing, with the rust colored mold or moss really sticking out, while the tree in the distance becomes iconic when framed like this. Great POV and execution.

I really enjoyed your other image from here, and am delighted to see this one from a close angle on the fence.
The textures of the fence are beautiful, and I love the lichen growing there. The positioning and framing of the tree is fantasic, and you managed to capture a stunning array of colours with blue, green, red, and grey. Really nicely done, a fantastic addition to your other image.

A great use of color contrast. The deep depth of field is perfect. A well presented crop allows eyes to remain fixed on the tree framed by the fence opening. The nice light on the fence and the blue-white sky color in the background also lends a lovely contrast to the scene. Excellent photo!!!

Olá, amiga Ana,
escogiste muu bien este encuadre para crear un bonito efecto de marco para el árbol solitario, mediante la valla de cemento.
La profundidad de campo está perfectamente gestionada, y podemos ver los detalles de la valla en el primer plano y la belleza del paisaje y del cielo al fondo.
La composición es creativa, y tiene un potente grafismo muy interesante.
Es un trabajo magnífico.

a very original and creative composition that engages the viewer for a long time. I love everything about it, the superbly captured textures and contrasts, the delicious vivid colours, the brightness and the desolation. The sense of depth is marvellous both on the fence and into the field. The luminous picture of the lone tree framed by the grey textured rhombus is superb and its position in the composition perfect.
