Beja Train Station Photo

Photographer’s Note

Second (and last) day in Beja, a beautiful town with so much left to discover but there was no much time left, so I decided to spend the last minutes of my camera batteries on this beautiful train station.
I believe it was built or rebuilt in 1940 (according to the faccade), but I'm not sure.

Hello Ana,
good, interesting "geometrical" perspective! Dynamic combination of long straight diagonal and vertical lines.
I like the juxtaposition of the darker, shadowy part and the sunlit part of the view. These yellow pillars and the sunlit platform look very cheerful (especially the yellow pillars add some sunshine to the shadowy part).
But why is this place empty? There is no Note to the photo - nothing!:(

i like very much the play of colours under the light and the old fshion station with modern parts, this kind of ancient stations are wonderful!!

Olá Ana!

Pela imagem observa-se que é uma estação de trem. No entanto, faltou a descrição(note) do local. No meu modo de ver, um "Fill Light" atenuaria um pouco as sombras, mas, se esta foi a intenção, parabéns pelo trabalho!

Hello Ana, one of your best shots with excellent graphism. I've seen many towns in Alentejo but not yet Beja. After seeing your photo, maybe I will consider to go there by train.
