Photographer’s Note

I've taken this photo near Castro verde, in the Alentejo. Unfortunately, the weather was really dark that day, we could hardly see the sun.
It's an old rural house. Right in the background we can see another one and also an artificial stork's nest. The fields we can see on the right side give us a good idea of how the landscape looks like in this area, the area of the big crops, where the fields look endless. It was taken in September, when the fields are still dry. Now the rain is atarting to fall, in a few days they will look different already.

Hi Ana,
The colours of the house are extremely fine, the blue and red are in perfect harmony. The landscape is peaceful and calm. This is a very fine picture, well worth to be painted. The plough to the right is just another detail that is a perfect fulfilment.

Essa foto sua está bem no estilo das fotos do Paulo (paura). Interessante ver essa casinha com todo esse campo no fundo. Uma boa profundidade você conseguiu.

Bonjour Ana,
Très jolie vue sur la campagne de l'Alentejo avec cette vielle maison, les chênes liège et la ferme dans le fond. Le ciel gris apporte une atmosphère pleine de nostalgie.

Imagem rural bastante completa e bonita, a charrua com ar de quem já trabalhou muito a casa velha mas muito bem estimada,a profundidade fazem uma bela composição.

Olá Ana,
Apesar de tecnicamente ainda ter sido tirada no Verão, é já uma vista muito Outonal, talvez ainda mais do que se tivesse sido tirada hoje. Uma bela compo, onde a luz a modos que acentua um certo ar nostálgico. O alinhamento dos postes, tão frequentemente irritante, até que aqui ajuda a profundidade. O poste da cegonha, essa aberração que deve ter sido inventada por urbanóides que só descobriram a "natureza" nas aulas de Biologia do Secundário ou faculdade, acaba por ficar em grande destaque.

Excelente composição. A frescura da casa recentemente caiada, a profundidade da planície reforçada com outro monte ao fundo, a charrua envelhecida em primeiro plano e, ainda, o bónus do ninho de cegoinha no poste da electricidade. O céu estava sombrio mas a foto irradia a luz da casa. Muito bonito.
