Photographer’s Note

This is my third post of this little chapel. In the beginning I've translated it as "heaven's altar" but in fact it's more like "altar of the sky" (it's devoted to Our Lady of Aracelis).
This is one of the most important chapels in the region. It was built in the 18th, in a year Our Lady answered to the prayers of the people who asked desperatly for rain. Since then, this chapel is quite connected to the rain. Every year in September there's a feast and people ask for it. Around the chapel you'll find some engraved stones offered by the farmers -we must not forget this is really a hot and dry region in the summer and when it doesn't rain enough life is not really easy.
Situated on the top of a hill, this is also an ideal place for birdwatching.
