Photographer’s Note

This is a detail of a street in Castro Verde. Castro Verde is a small town in the heart of the Alentejo, a plae where the soul of this region can be really felt. This area is also called "campo branco" (white field) because the landscape has been transformed by man in order to transform it into the "barn of Portugal". These are the lands of the big crops and also of many difference species of birds - a real paradise for birdwatchers and a protected area.
Here, most part of the houses are still very low and following the traditional architecture. When the weather is fine and mainly in the hot summer evenings, these benches are full of people talking. Yesterday there was no one there, it was really hot during the day.

Linda de morrer, como sempre. E como sempre, uma compo impecável que me faz ficar que tempos a olhar para ela tentando evitar ficar roído de inveja por não ter um bocadinho do teu jeito para estas "coisas". Claro, e além da compo há a luminosidade, o contraste, as cores bem saturadas, sei lá que mais...
Aquela de terem pintado e cortado a tabuleta dá um toque de humor (negro?).

I love those white and blue colour combinations. The stones of the path in the foreground and the framed window are eye catching and the roof is a pleasant top here.

Beleza de fotografia aqui, desse singelo assunto. A composição está muito boa, da mesma forma que foco, brilho e etc.

o "banquinho" à frente da velha casinha está muito bonito. Gostei também do piso todo feito de pequenas pedras.

A wonderful view is stunning in your photo that full with your style. My favorites of blue, white and old type of roof tiles are dazzling my eyes as every time. Empty bank and little yellow paint are creating great ambiance. Congratulations.

Hello Ana,
Nice luminosity which illuminating well the facade of the house. Good exposure as the white of the wall is not overburned and details/textures are clearly visible. Good colors and resolution.
