Hi dear TE friends

Place : Salema

Region: Municipality- Vila do Bispo,/ Parish – Budens (Algarve,south zone of Portugal).

Theme: Portugal /Algarve Holiday

The picturesque Salema still maintains its ancient traditions of fishing activity. There is no barrier between the beach and the village, and small boats painted in bright colours, bearing quaint names such as God help me, rest on the sand close to the first houses. There are, however, good conditions for the visitor to stay due to the tourist equipment. By a quick search during summer, a great night entertainmenet can be revealed to people
. Beach of small dimensions, where it has conditions for the practical one of windsurf and diving. In the beach it has the possibility to rent gulls and I row it to boats. The waters are calm, are watched.

Nice picture... gives a clear visual of this beach.

Great information about Salema beach and its tourist offerings. Looks like a nice place to go do some fishing and then relax and play on the beach.

Gosto de ver esta praia bem arranjadinha. Nem parece ser em Portugal. Ah, só agora reparei que é no Algarve!!!

Hi, Filipe. The parasols create a nice perspective and their repetition makes a nice pattern, which emphasises the graphical quality of your picture. There is also a good contrast between the blue of the sea and sky and the sand.

Olá Filipe,
what a difference to the beach 25 years ago. Now it reminds me a bit to some Italian beaches with those parasols in rows. Still a bit empty even after 10 a.m. Good position for some depth by the rows and a nice background blue. It is still a wonderful coast.

belle photo de cet alignement parfait de ces gens de plages qui rangent tous les soir nos sièges et parassol pour donner cet effet de beauté et de propreté.
Bel hommage a tout ces gens des plages qui nous permettent de passer de bonnes vacances.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté, belle plage de sable blanc avec ces falaises derrière.

Surprisingly your f/2.8 aperture is giving nice depth for this shot to show very nicely composed diagonal rows of sheds in bright light and good colorful contrast.

Such a nice holiday spot for summer. Very nice post on beach scene of Portugal.

Belas ferias eu tive 9 dias de ferias em casa :)
Não conheço esta praia da Salema é muito bonita tem a arriba bem característica da costa do Algarve escolheste um belo ponto de visão com todos estes chapéus de palha e as cadeiras alinhadas, bonitos tons de azul, parabéns !!

It almost looks as if someone used a ruler to place all the sunbeds in straight lines with a measured space between each one. Your slightly elevated POV works well to show the perspective lines as they lead our eye through the image. This sort of image would be welcome in a brochure for beach holidays.

Seems like they are prepared for a crowd, with all the umbrellas so nicely lined up!
An effective point of view resulting in fine lines in the composition, and good light renders great colours...
A well composed image, fine details!

Que praia organizada! Parabéns para Portugal! O ponto de vista foi muito bem escolhido, mostrando as sombrinhas em diagonais sucessivas até chegarem naquele triângulo fabuloso do mar, com um tom de azul belíssimo. Vi o que disseram Ana e António, estranhando a praia vazia... todas as vezes em que estive em praias no Brasil (minha região não tem praia :-(, reparei que a maioria do pessoal começa a chegar mais por esta hora em que tiraste a foto, lá pelas 10 h - geralmente em férias, dormem tarde e acordam mais tarde também ;-)

Olá Filipe, estou a ver que desta vez não foste ao Portugal profundo e desconhecido... ;-) Mesmo assim, há pouquíssimos posts de Salema. Não seria de todo um destino que escolheria para férias mas esta perspectiva até está engraçada com o efeito de repetição dos chapéus. No entanto, escolho a vista do WS1, pois é mais "selvagem". Boa apresentação do local com as 3 imagens.

Olá Filipe,
Poderia passar por mais um "tourist snapshot" (como se a maior parte do que nós todos fazemos não fosse afinal isso mesmo!), mas o PdV escolhido e a beleza da própria praia até resulta numa foto excelente, com muito vigor visual. Os guarda-sóis e espreguiçadeiras dão um belo padrão e juntamente com a tira de mar azul, dão imensa profundidade à imagem.
É surpreendente que ainda hajam praias no Algarve que às 10 da manhã de um sábado de Agosto tenham tão pouca gente.

Olá Filipe.
Honestamente fotos de praias com muita gente não costumam "puxar-me" muito mas esta tem aqui um atractivo que são as linhas de sombrinhas que aqui captaste e as diversas diagonais que elas criam.
Os contrastes de cor entre a areia, o céu e as rochas são também outro detalhe interessante.

Gostei da foto no geral, mas o que mais me chama a atenção é o padrão criado pelos guarda-sóis e espreguiçadeiras: ficou uma beleza!
Dei uma olhadinha nos WS também e gostei da mesma forma, pois vi outras vistas do mesmo lugar, o que me deu uma boa visão do que é a Praia de Salema!
