The Beach of Tonel is located next to the fortress of Sagres village, in the middle of the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and vicentine coast in the province of Algarve, municipality of Vila do Bispo.
It is a beach with good conditions for the practice of windsurfing and diving and despite the strong winds of the area is sheltered by the surrounding cliffs.
Sagres is a picturesque fishing village, surrounded by beaches very popular for surfing.
