This shot was taken during the 8º Portimao Photograpy Race, under the theme "down on the beach". This Beach is the very famous Praia da Rocha, and it was hot has hell.

Ola,
I like your photo very much, Sergio - the idea is great,
th ecomposition, DOF, everything seems to be in place but
one thing - the ligh and contrast.
Having in mind you took this one at 5:02pm, one would expect
more natural light... and apart from being too dark, seems
like there's also some white balance issue going on, like
some strange yellowish cast being present.
I think all that is the reason why after 52 views, this
photo carries only 3 points.

J'adore ta photo de part sa teinte jaune très chaude et de part son cadrage excentrique: les planches non centrées mais les jambes posées sur un des points de forces.

Concernant la white balance, utilises-la comme tu le désires. Elle est présente sur tous les appareils alors à nous d'en faire bon usage...
L'utilisation de la balance des blancs semble pour moi égale au Noir et Blanc... à utiliser quand on désire donner une ambiance particulière à une mise en scène.
