Mariscadores are gathering seafood at low tide in the Ria Formosa area. They carry little shovels and buckets for collecting the seashells. The lagoon is separated by a sanddune from the atlantic.
The photo I made in the morning at low tide. It was a very bright morning, which at this time of the year is not always the case. It was my intention to picture the scene rather than the individual mariscadores. Therefore the 'silhouette' view suited me well.
