Photographer’s Note

Fin d'après-midi menaçante sur la vieille ville de Albufeira, sur la côte sud du Portugal. C'est clair, il va pleuvoir! Et ça n'a pas tardé, un forte pluie s'est abattue sur la ville et m'a obligé à passer au moins une heure sous un auvent, et il ne s'est vraiment arrêté de pleuvoir que 4h plus tard. Résultat, une soirée à trembler de froid, mais le détour en vallait le coup!

I couldn't see you here for a long time... :o) Interesting capture, especially the light - it is really fantastic! The heavy clouds look amazingly... Good vertical composition and nice natural colours. Well done Quentin.

What is fantastic about those sudden storms is the fact that very often the light is excellent. It is the case in this shot and was the case in here. Your vertical frame is excellent and the white houses against that dramatic sky look spectacular. Down below, the people did not show much concern about the coming rain. It was sunny down there! Well done.
