Palheira Dolmen - II Photo

Photographer’s Note

As I had promised, here's the inside of the house where the dolmen was included. It's one of the biggest dolmens in the area, it's around 6000 years old and it's very original because a long time ago it has been included in a house which has been inhabited till last century.The entrance is on the left side. In the room we have the dolmen that seems to have been used as a kitchen and if we look in front, there's an entrance to other room of the house.

Olá Anabela,
só agora percebi sua nova câmera. A FinePix S9600 é uma excelente opção de modelo copacto avançado com uma obejetiva que, apesar de presa ao corpo, consegue atingir amplos e bons resultados. Neste caso, adorei a textura das rochas, bem detalhadas e com um fundo muito bonito com o verde das grandes árvores e com um céu azul de dar gosto - não chove em Portugal não hein? :)
Muito bom, divirta-se com sua nova câmera.

Hey Ana,

Interesting piece and notes. I'm kinda uncomfortable having 'dolmens' or 'anta' in portuguese inside my home, knowing these ancient stone formations are burial or tomb tables. Yet it's one of the most studied ancient form of architecture...priceless treasures!

Nossa 6mil anos, é muito antigo mesmo! Boa composição desse artefato arquológico ana. Nunca vi algo assim aqui pelo Brasil, sei que existem algumas cavernas com escritas na parede, mas só.
Fico imaginando quando pessoas deviam ser necessárias para carregar essas pedras...

Compo impecável, tecnicamente perfeita (bom, se quisesse ser picuinhas, talvez o chão esteja um bocado oe, mas sendo tão claro e estando ao sol, já é excelente que não esteja queimado).
Confesso que 'aqui' vim parar porque te queria dizer que encontrei uns posts com dolmens da Bretanha na galeria do pirulesco, mas acabou por ser bom, pois esta tinha-me escapado.
