Iím almost finishing my series about this event this year. This time, something different happened, which is not exactly part of the tradition. Between one flock and the other, a group of horse riders came and went around the chapel also. Hereís a photo of the moment.

What a lovely shot of the horse and rider next to the historic stone structure. I think, the small audience is appreciating the scene, and that helps the viewer of the photo appreciate it also.
I hope your summer is going well (actually, it is not here officially yet). We are enjoying the World Cup. It was a devastating event in the Portugal-Germany game, but I am hoping that Portugal will make it into the next round.

Haha, this might have been something that we refer to as a "Chinese fire drill." :) Love this moment, and the placement and separation of people is all so very genuine and organic. The gentleman on the right really aids in the perception of depth, making for a strong starting point within the frame. But the horse and rider take center stage, and rightfully so. Very nicely taken and well shown. This has been an enjoyable series indeed. Enjoy the new day. All the best.

Hello Ana - This shot works well because of your composition with the man sitting on the rock watching the scene unfold before him. He adds an immediacy to the image drawing us in to his world.

Like the composition with the horse taken in full action, just at the monument he is in front of the old building?
Beautiful landscape at the back
Will have a look at this series

It looks a vibrant capture with the rider at the festival minus all the goats with specks of vivid colour to click the eye. I think you've retained just the right amount of detail throughout filled with sights, enthusiasm and colors but the chapel still serves as a strong focus of interest. You've got a lovely warm like to work with and dynamic subject so well featured making this shot lively. Nice capture and pleasing on the eyes, Well done, TFS

I enjoy very much observing this scene too. Again, you used your well considered point of view effectively and the scene you are presenting from the traditional event is interesting on several levels. I like how the composition and the spectators' glances direct us to the lady on horseback as the main focal point, the movement is well conveyed too. There's excellent clarity, colours and textures are vivid and rich, the whole context is comprehensive and interesting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
