Photographer's Note

Located very close to the wonderful castle of Montalegre, this old bridge is often nicknamed the "Old Bridge" or "Roman Bridge".

Montalegre is a village full of history, indicating human occupation since ancient times and inhabited by many different peoples and cultures, it is thought that the bridge may have been built by the same heights of Roman occupation of the territory, or even later, but following the style Roman architectural and probably using materials of previous constructions.

The bridge consists of a single arc and a well equipped board has changed much over the centuries.
