Viana do Castelo is one of the cities most known about the north of the country. Watered by the River Lima and Atlantic Ocean, his historical helmet keeps excellent architectural samples as Chur Matriz.

Chur Matriz of Viana do Castelo - Sé Cathedral

Chur Matriz of Viana do Castelo, Sé Cathedral, it is a church fortitude constructed in the XVth century in the Long Historical Institute do Minho. His frontage is flanked by two big towers crowned by battlements and in her he emphasizes his beautiful portal with sculpted scenes of Christ's Passion and sculptures of the Apostles. It is a Romanesque temple with plant of Latin cross and his interior is three ships separated by arches supported on props.
