Another view of the beautiful old bridge at Ponte de Lima. The Roman bridge after which Ponte de Lima is named was part of the Roman road from Braga to Astorga in Spain. The bridge consists of two segments. The 3-arched segment on the north-bank dates from the Roman times. The 31-arched bridge across the Lima dates from the 14th century and was restored the following century.

Hello Chris ,
Not easy to manage the light in such difficult conditions . And you've did it very well . Great effect of the contrast between the old stoned bridge in the shade and the house in the light . The perspective and the framing are excellent , too .
This is a beautiful town to visit .

Very good perspective along this old bridge toward the attractive background architecture. I like the twin repeating motifs of the arches and the lamp posts. The detail in the old stones is very well rendered with good colours and sharpness.

Une bonne prise de ce vieux pont plein de charme et les maisons qui se laissent deviner au fond de l'image.
Merci pour le partage et bonne soirée.

Like your photo for the lots of details to watch and also for the way you manage the light
