And this is Lindoso, that has probably the biggest concentration of Espigueiros in the country – around 70, dating between the end of the 18th and the 20th C. These can be divided in several groups according the materials of construction, but they are considered as being of good quality and they are placed on the slope that leads to the castle, around one single treshing floor, which shows the strong feeling of community that existed here. Most part of them are still being used, but they are now protected.
Here we can see some of them and part of the castle in background. From there, it’s possible to have a wonderful view of the mountains around and the Lima River.

Quelles belles constructions originales toutes en pierres. Les emplacements sont aléatoires et suivent bien les courbes du terrain. La contre plongée leur donne de l'ampleur et le ciel bleu est un parfait arrière plan.

Pleasing capture. Good composition and colors. Sun light falling from one side on the structures and that clean blue sky. Soothing effect. Thanks for sharing.

curioso o nome desse local. Gostei do céu azul escuro o que destacou mais as construções. ótima nota também.

Hello Ana,another shot of these most interesting buildings, barns around here were built on stones to achieve the same effect of keeping vermin away.
A very attractive venue nicely portrayed, well done.
Kind regards Les.

Very interesting types of barns here, they look quite intriguing. The barns are well clustered around the entire frame and the little peek at the ruined castle behind them puts them well in context with their suroundings.
have a great weekend

Your three photos from Lindoso are so worth seeing, dear Ana. Your presentation is quite good of the subject that I like so much - romantic and misterious. Anywhere your witness from Portugal is great, your sunny country. So glad to meet you from time to time. Warm regards,
