Photographer’s Note

Doing a break on my Illuminated Country Theme.

Today I am posting a photo from the Arco de Valdevez Lapa church.

The church is dedicated to our Lady of the Lapa, the construction finished in 1767, and the predominant architecture style is a typical Rococo.

The Rococo style of art emerged in France in the early 18th century as a continuation of the Baroque style. In contrast to the heavier themes and darker colors of the Baroque, the Rococo style was characterized by an opulence, grace, playfulness, and lightness.

The day was cloudy and it was starting to rain.in order to frozen the water a small shutter speed was selected.
