On the bridge Photo

Photographer’s Note

There are many splendid photos of the D. Luis Bridge in Porto but no view made from the bridge although it is very impressive. So, this is the sight from the bridge. I walked from the Gaia side and as it is very high, 45 m (it seemed to me even higher:) I was trembling from fear and looked only straight, going as paralysed as far from the barrier as possible (not in the center though, as there is metro train there). So I couldn't even think about making photos. Only approaching the other side I felt happy and took my camera out. It is the result.

Widokówka, ale robi wrażenie. Dobra robota, choć wolałbym dodatkowo jeszcze jakąś laskę na moście...

Oalac OK, lepsza jednak jest palma, ale najlepsze te dwa slupki na dole, zupelnie takie same jak w Warszawie.

No, tej czesci Portugalii niestety nie mam w planach urlopowych, wiec uwaznie sie przygladam co trace (tym razem). Piekno architektury w polaczeniu z cieplem oraz woda w tle- tak pachna wakacje i to czuje z tego zdjecia.

Wspania³e letnie foto. Przepiêkne stare budynki, poro¶niête bluszczem. Fajnie ¿e na pierwszym planie umie¶ci³a¶ t± barierkê - jest bardzo fajna.

Hi Malgorsata,
You are right, there are probably enough pictures of the bridge here on TE and this view is more enjoyable. The houses here seem to be built on top of each other and there is a good diagonal line along them here. Also very strong and attractive colours!

This is a well composed shot with the inclusion of the rail in the foreground which adds depth to the scene. The angle of the scene is great adding direction to the scene. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Tens aqui uma bela foto da cidade do Porto , uma vista bem diferente do normal , capturaste belos detalhes de arquitectura nestes velhos edifícios , gostei do céu azul , parabéns !!
