This is a view from the old part of the city of Porto, close to the river. The photo is quite interesting to me because it gives quite a good picture of what you can feel when you arrive to this part of the town : roofs everywhere illuminated by the heavy sun. You really feel that spending time outside is part of the way of living in portuguese's mind.

A very pleasant cityscape composition...Colors and framing are excellent!

Very nice shot with many things to look at... The persons sitting on the ring wall, the laundry hanging out of the windows and not forgetting to mention the semi chaos of roof tops ;-)

Nice shot! Ideal for a travel magazine, it's basically quintessential Meditteranean :-D
Not 100% sure about the horizon in this shot, but if it is off, it can only be by a fraction of a degree... I'd consider using Contrast Masking to bring out some of the building detail - it works well in this scenario!

A really nice depiction of the local architecture and the town in general. Really well composed, with the housing rising to the top right up of the photo. Good balance between the houses and the sky (and a nice sky too). And as Edwin says, lots to look at, but not cluttered in my view.

Picture postcard view here, shot to perfection, it's got everything going for it, the buildings look so higgledy piggledy, roofs are beautifully lit, the sky has in interesting cloud formation, hard to find any fault whatsoever, so I'll stop looking for one! :)

Lovely blending of red roof and blue sky. The use of diagonal roof lines here is wonderful. Very, very well done.

Nice shot. However, I wonder if it may have possible to take the shot earlier in the morning or closer to sunset. The picture looks to have been taken near the middle of the day which has resulted in the colours appearing a little washed out. With less harsh light the orange colours would have been moore saturated and the presence of longr shadows would have revealed more depth in the picture.
I like the composition of the picture very much.

Bravo.
