RABELO'S AND BRIDGES, a photo from Porto, North

Photographer's Note

Porto and it's River Douro besides the emblematic Rabelo boats have some fabulous piece of art’s engineering structures.
This view to the upside river show two of these bridges, over calm waters here. The metallic was designed by Seyrig a Eiffel’s colleague and the other one the most recent in prestressed concrete with a very low bow.

Hi Rui,

I really enjoy this picture as well, perhaps not the same clarity as your two previous post but a wonderful composition and a great POV. I love to see the Dom Luis bridge from this side. TFS!

excellent POV and wonderful colors.
I like very much the stone pier on the right and the clear and coloful background. Reflactions are very nice and bridge silhouette
makes a good connection on the frame.

Olá Rui,
Estou indeciso sobre se a devo elogiar ou não. É uma linda vista e a luz sobre a água está lindíssima. O POV baixo, pondo em destaque a água e o reflexo dos mastros é capaz de ser acertado, mas... não tenho a certeza que a compo no geral faz justiça ao que se vê. A excessiva suavidade (falta de contraste), a falta de nitidez, o tom amarelado em baixo e os violetas e brancos do céu dão um ar nostálgico de foto antiga que nem fica mal, mas por outro lado fazem-na menos atractiva visualmente.

Bom-dia Rui,
as embarcações dão à imagem a impressão de uma época antiga. Mas a ponte coloca na época real. Gosto muito dos toms e os reflexos desta imagem que quase fazem uma pintura.

The old Porto, bridges and boats are in a winter low light, Rui.
But nevertheless a magnificent view, unique .
POV on water lever also great.
