Freixo Palace Photo

Photographer’s Note

This a palace in Porto, near the river, in an area known as "Freixo".

I went there for the first time last weekend, to visit an exhibition of Catalan artist Salvador Dali and used the opportunity to make a few shots.

I removed some people from the original picture (quite a few, actually) and tried to go for a dense approach on this image, quite different to what I usually do. I used "dodge" and "burn" a lot to achieve this final effect, together with careful selections.

Bem-vindo ao TE. Mais de dois anos sem participação é muito tempo.
É certamente uma foto muito boa com as cores quentes do fim do dia. Gosto muito da definição apresentada na casa mas já não posso dizer o mesmo quanto à árvore da esquerda que me parece ter "sharpness" a mais.
Já que houve "remoção" de pessoas, aquela coisa azul à esquerda (parece-me um carro), também podia ter sido apagada.
