Photographer's Note

One nice aspect of some cities in Portugal is the preservation of these old style trams still working and transporting passengers along the city centre. The very first morning we started touring the town, after few minutes we have left our hotel near Praça da Liberdade, we came across this lovely yellow tram coming towards us in Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Luck that I had the camera ready in my hands and so I could take the chance immediately before it ran away.
At the left of the tram you can admire the fine azulejos and gate of the church of Santo Antõnio dos Congregados , while just behind it that building in the corner is the theatre Sà da Bandeira.
