Portugal is a colorful country. Very typical is the use of yellow and blue colors in the façades of older houses.
I tried to make a combination of a characteristic older lady with such an old façade in a village in the neighbourhood of Monte Real.

I really like this shot Eddie,

There is a strong of sense of dignity in this shot. Maybe its the look on her face or the posture she is standing in. The yellow in the wall and the little flowers, blue in the door and, and the black of the lady's attire and the rest of the wall add a nice touch to the picture.

quite good composition! you joined two quite traditional things: the colourful façades of old houses and an old woman, probably the owner of the house, dressed in black! is a quite big contrast of colors but is quite rare to see an old woman in small villages dressed in other colors than black.

Mooi Portret is dit.
Krachtige rechte lijnen in de architectuur en krachtige menselijke lijnen in het gezicht van de oude dame.
Leuk detail: de gele stipjes van de paardenbloemen in contrast met het grote geel van de muur.
