Photographer’s Note
This foto was taken at Fatima. Milions of people come hier to prayer. Despite the number op people, you find here a quite a peacful athmosphere
From wikipedia:
Fátima's claim is fame to the shrine called the Sanctuary of Fátima, built to commemorate the events of 1917 when three peasant children claimed to have seen the "Virgin of the Rosary", Our Lady of Fatima. The children actually experienced the apparitions in a pasture called the Cova da Iria ("Irene's Cove") near the village of Aljustrel, about a mile from Fátima.
Fátima now attracts hosts of believers from far and wide, particularly on the pilgrimage days, and the shrine has been developed on a correspondingly large scale. The large torch-light processions in the evening are particularly impressive.
The pilgrims gather in the Cova, on a huge esplanade in which is built a little chapel where the Virgin is believed to have appeared to the children. Around the esplanade are a considerable number of shops and stalls selling all kinds of religious articles.
On the far side of the esplanade rises the gigantic basilica, in neo-classical style, with a central tower 65 meters high, the construction of which was begun on 13 May 1928. It is flanked by colonnades linking it with the extensive conventual and hospital buildings. In the basilica are the tombs of two of the three seers, Francisco Marto and Jacinta Marto, who died in 1919 and 1920 respectively, and were beatified in 2000. The third seer, Lúcia dos Santos, died in 2005. Now Lúcia's tomb is also in the Basilica.

On this re-post i use ShiftN to correct the distortion of the tower; balanced the highlights and add a frame

Hello Kik Ko.
The wideangle lens allows a great depth of field.
The flower hides the word on the church's facade but gives a very interesting color note.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Hi Kik
This is a creative angle and shot to include the greenery and flower. I think it works in favor for this image. I think you captured the peacefulness that you described you felt while visiting this place. Elegant architecture with good presence with the tower. Good technical shot.
Congratulations,

Hi Kik,
This is actually not an easy shot to make to get both the foreground and background sharp yet still have the feeling of depth, but you did a great job here, the very slightly blur of the background help make the pupil African lily pop out.
Technically it is great, but compositionally I don't know if the inclusio of the flower add anything to it. It seems to be in the way and kind of stick out strangely. perhaps if you included more of them on the ground as part of the landscape it may work better. and the pupil and the blue don't really completment each other that well, anyway that just my preference I guess. Excellent technical quality regardless. Thanks.
p.s. I do like this version better than the original version.

Hello dear Kik,
it's a really splendid architectural image, the church is marvellous, the colours are really amazing, and you had the excellent idea to insert the flower on the right. The vertical format works well.
Friendly regards.

ciao Kik,
un posto che andrei di corsa a visitare e una meta che penso faccia bene a tutti vedere.
Ottimo il tuo scatto per la perfetta definizione e per i colori.
Il fiore in FG è un piccolo capolavoro per come è inserito nella composizione.
saluti
maurizio
