Photographer’s Note
This is at Ribeiro de San Pedro (San Pedro's brook), it's a short stream, only 9 km long, but goes through some beautiful spots.
This small plant grew on one of the rocks covered with mud, inside the stream. This was shot on a cloudy day and I like the way the green from the plant stands out from the rest of the dark image.

Very well seen and composed Miguel. The one color amongst the earth browngrey is very powerful. The posistion of the plant in the frame is absolutely perfect. A very symbolic look on this picture, something about life and hope after all anywhere. Very well done!
One problem though, you can´t see the beauty of it on the thumbsnail.

You are right about the green colour. It lightens up teh whole image in an absolutly lovely way. A part from the plant the fog that runs along the water is laso very lovely. Th wwhole composition give me the feeling of hope.

very symbolic of the way subtle and fragile things can live in an hostile environment. Nice effect rendered through your capture. This green gives a vivid force to the picture, otherwise very dark...compo is also a force IMO. Great shot!

mi paicciono questi colori cosi' a contrasto il nero che predomina e il verde che spicca...la speranza su questo mondo...
