Óbidos wall and tower, a photo from Leiria, North

Photographer's Note

The small town of Óbidos, has a wall all around, small alleies and beautiful corners.
We had a pouring rain on the day we were there - so this picture of the wall and tower through a colorful alley, was taken with an umbrela in one hand...
In the WS there is another part of the wall.

Hi Ike,

The point of view from the street toward the tower is giving depth and perspective to the composition. It is also showing the details and colors of the house and of the tower. Even, if it was raining, it has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ike.
A composition that I love, wonderful contrast with the house at the bottom of the image, the abundant vegetation and on top the tower and the wall, it hurts the degas so cloudy day, with a blue sky would have been sensational, the problem is when you travel, do not always find good weather.

Good work.
Lugar da Mouraria as you can read in the inscription means the place of singing (fado9 and drinking (red wine).... at the medieval ages..

I ever visited this place in the summer, when the sky was blue. It is a pity you were there during a rainy day. nice view here, I liked the way you framed the tower and the old window.
