Coimbra - Night View IV Photo

Photographer’s Note

Almost one year after my night series of Coimbra, here's my 4th photo. Here the pov is just a little different but, as in the previous ones, I used the wall as a support.What we see here is the Mondego River in foreground, Santa Clara Bridge on the right and the old University at the top.

Olá Ana,

Coimbra tem mais encanto... mas à noite ainda tem mais.Uma boa captura embora um pouco longe (pouco zoom)bonitos os reflexos e as luzes na cidade.Fiz um pequeno ws para exemplificar o que escrevi.

Olá Ana. Definição impressionante! São excelentes os reflexos do "Basófias". Lá no alto, a "Cabra" bem iluminada continua a ser senhora das noites conimbricenses.

You have good wxpoure here and fine sharpness. Blue hour and reflections always go together well! It was also possible to have a panoramic format!

Olá Ana,

Amazing golden lights in the blues of night and water. I like splendid effect of matted water surface and long reflections a lot too. Star effect on street lamps, clarity of city textures is noticeable. Wonderful.

Uma bela foto da "hora azul", bem mais atraente que as minhas demasiado nocturnas, não só pela luz e cores, mas tb. pelo PdV, que além de ser descentrado e menos frontal, coloca a universidade num "ponto dourado" e aproveita muito bem os reflexos no "Bazófias".

The link between the glowing lights of the university at the top of the hill down to the massive glow of the waterfront works very well for me .. beautiful blues .. nice control of all the bright lights .. very nice. take care, John

An excellent night capture. Not only is it pin sharp but also the exposure is perfect. Like the lit up castle up on the hill, the twinkling effect on the street lights & the reflections. The warm-colod colour contrast also makes this very appealing. Good work!

excellent blue hour photo I guess you d get a finer result if you included more of the bridge view. because we already see a lot of the reflections you would not lose any of that part.

Intéressante image à la fin de l'heure bleue.
Je note unebonne maîtrise de l'exposition et l'avant-plan n'a pas été transformé en patinoire par la longue pause.
