Photographer’s Note

Beach an the Atlantic Ocean in the city of Figueira da Foz. Figueira da Foz is located at the mouth of the Mondego river, 40 km west of Coimbra, and sheltered by the Serra (mountain) da Boa Viagem. It is a coastal city with several beaches, summer and seaport facilities in the Atlantic Ocean coast. As a city of tourism it plays an important part in the centre of the country. Discovered as a sea resort by the end of the 19th century, it gained great reputation in the 1920’s and 1930’s. The city had the Portuguese nickname of Rainha das Praias which means Queen of the Beaches.

O, dzisiaj jest fajowo... Podoba mi siê ta kompozycja. Bardzo ciekawa. Ta tyczka mog³aby byæ jednak prosta. By³oby jeszcze lepiej. Ciekawe kolory.

it looks like Portugal is your second home.
I like this long, wide endless beach....maybe it is also overcrowded in Summer. I hope I am wrong...I like lonely beaches...

Cześć Mikołaju,

Niesłychanie szeroka ta plaża, jak okiem sięgnąć piasek i piasek. Ma dość dziwny kolor. Komicznie wyglądają te koła ratunkowe, jak na pustyni. Pewnie te uwagi są bez sensu, bo to może być na przykład w czasie odpływu, a być zalane podczas przypływu. Brzeg jest bardzo płaski. ja w każdym razie wolałabym być bliżej morza. Pozdrawiam

Wszystko pieknie i ladnie, ladnie wypatrzone, dobre kolorki, ciekawe kadrowanie i miejsce... Tylko gdzie ten wielki ocean sie pytam, Bo to chyba nia ta kaluza po lewej;)))
