Church of Santa Clara-a-Velha (down) and church and convent of Santa Clara-a-Nova (up) in the city of Coimbra. Church of Santa Clara-a-Velha connected with the Queen Saint Isabel, Its construction started in 1286 by Master Domingos Domingues. Gothic style. It was sacred in 1330, a year before the first floods and abandoned in 1677. Closed for requalification. Church and convent of Santa Clara-a-Nova built in Baroque style in the XVII and XVIII centuries. Retable of the High Altar in gilt carved wood with Queen Saint Isabel’s urn, in silver and crystal. Queen Isabel’s primitive tomb, in stone, made by Master Pero in 1330. Cloister from 1733, by Carlos Mardel.
